ebm-papst is actively involved in a number of associations and is particularly committed to "green" initiatives.

Institute of Refrigeration (IOR)

Individuals from ebm-papst are members of the Institute of Refrigeration (IOR), an independent organisation run for refrigeration and air conditioning professionals, by professionals in the sector. The IOR provide a central meeting point for professionals from all over the world to discuss ideas, improve and learn more about refrigeration and air conditioning.

The Building Futures Group

ebm-papst are a member of The Building Futures Group, an organisation which collectively represents the housing, property, cleaning, parking and facilities management sectors in the UK. The Building Futures Group help to shape future policies with it's members' best interests in mind.

The Building Services Research and Information Association (BSRIA)

ebm-papst are a member of The Building Services Research and Information Association (BSRIA), which is a test, instrument, research and consultancy organisation, specialising in construction and building services. This is an independent association, so any profits made within the association are invested in the BSRIA on-going research programme.

British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM)

Individuals within ebm-papst are members of BIFM, the professional body for facilities management. They promote professionalism in FM's by offering training, qualifications, membership and networking services so that facilities management practitioners can cater to their clients to the best of their ability.

The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE)

ebm-papst are a member of CIBSE, the professional body which exists to support their members and the public by providing information and education services in the Science, Art and Practice of building services. The Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers also offer CPD accreditations so that those involved can further their knowledge and pass their knowledge on to others. Various members of staff at ebm-papst have accredited CIBSE CPD presentations, all of which can be presented in the UK offices or on customer territory. Fan Manufacturers Association (FMA)

ebm-papst is a member of the FMA, an association dedicated to building it's expertise in fan engineering by reaching out to other associations, and increasing it's input to the UK, European and Global industry issues. The Fan Manufacturers Association maintain an active role in helping to shape current and future legislations, in order to benefit their members in the best way possible.

Building Controls Industry Association (BCIA)

ebm-papst is a member of the BCIA, an association which represents companies in the manufacturing, installation and maintenance of building controls and Building Energy Management Systems. The BCIA aim to promote better understanding of application and use of building controls and also to increase awareness of the importance of good specification, design and installation of controls.

Residential Ventilation Association (RVA)

ebm-papst is a member of the RVA, an association which endeavours to offer the best practice advice to specifiers on their ventilation requirements. The Residential Ventilation Association specialise in the knowledge of Individual Fans, Passive Stack Ventilation, Continuous Mechanical Extract Ventilation, Continuous Mechanical Extract Ventilation with Heat Recovery and Positive Input Ventilation- Ducting Systems.

European Ventilation Industry Association

ebm-papst is a member of EVIA. The European Ventilation Industry Association EVIA represents the ventilation industry both in Brussels with the EU institutions and in the national capitals with our partners. EVIA aims to serve as platform and point of contact between all the relevant European stakeholders involved in ventilation industry including European decision-makers, scientists, and other relevant organizations.

The Federation of Environmental Trade Associations (FETA)

ebm-papst are a member of The Federation of Environmental Trade Associations, a high profile UK trade body which focuses on the diverse interests of manufacturers, suppliers, installers and contractors within the building services sector. FETA is split into 6 different associations, and work closely with the government body and other associations to protect, promote or represent members' interests.

British Refrigeration Association (BRA)

ebm-papst is a member of the BRA, the only trade association which represents manufacturers, importers, wholesalers, distributors, contractors, specifiers and end users of refrigeration equipment. The British Refrigeration Association also help to influence legislation and work to improve trading conditions and opportunities for it's members.
