| As pioneers of energy saving EC fan technology, we have decided to run a series of seminars to provide information on the potential benefits to a wider audience. Although our direct customers, the equipment manufacturers, are well acquainted with these products, it is clear that the building designers, specifiers and end users are not aware that there are additional energy savings to be found by insisting on the use of high efficiency EC fans instead of traditional and less efficient AC fans in a multitude of air movement applications.
The seminars, which include a one hour presentation approved by the Construction CPD Certification Service, will give a brief explanation of the technical differences between EC and AC motors then explore in more detail where EC fans have already been successfully used and the particular advantages of their use in different systems. An overview of relevant environmental legislation will also be included and the final session is very interactive as we encourage our visitors to ask questions on the subjects which affect them.
